Carl E. Pace

MOODY – Carl E. Pace, 83, of Moody died Thursday afternoon in a Moody nursing home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Moody, the Revs. Marion Ford and John Bailey officiating. Burial will be in the Cego Cemetery. The body will be at the church one hour before services.

Mr. Pace was preceded in death by his wife in 1964. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Cego Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Cecil Pace of Bruceville and Harvey Pace of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Hardcastle of Chilton and Mrs. J. B. (Bessie) Lancaster of Troy; a sister, Mrs. Oras Bentley of Eddy; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.
