FOLLOWS HER SON IN DEATH

MOTHER DIES FROM SHOCK

DEATH OF MRS. T. SMITH FOLLOWS
CLOSELY ON FUNERAL OF HER SON.

 

     Close on the funeral of her son, W. P. Shotwell, Wednesday afternoon, Mrs. T. Smith, aged 81 years, died this morning at her home at Cego. Her death was attributed to shock resulting from her being informed of her son's demise.

 

     Born in Lee county, Texas, Mrs. Smith had been a resident of Falls county for over 40 years. Her first husband, M. R. Shotwell, died 52 years ago. Later, she was married to Mr. Smith, who survives her. Two children survive her also, a son, S. K. Smith of Rogers, and a daughter, Mrs. Pinkey Perguson of Mooreville.

 

     The funeral will be held at Cego at 11 o'clock Friday morning.
