FRANKIE M. BLANTON - Service for Frankie M. Blanton, 85, of Bokchito was today at the First Baptist Church of Bokchito, with the Rev. Harry Boydstun officiating.
Burial under the direction of Coffey Funeral Home was in Bokchito Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 6, 1904, at Black Jack, Ark., and lived most of her life in Bryan County. A homemaker and a member of the Bokchito First Baptist Church, she married William E. Blanton (sic - should be William F. Blanton). He preceeded her in death in 1963.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Ray Blanton of Durant and Bob Blanton of Blanchard, Okla; one daughter, Dora Faye Kirksey of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandsons, William Charles Bourbeau of Oklahoma city and Larry Wayne Bourbeau of Springfield, Mo; granddaughter, Roetta Rose of Springfield, Mo., several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. (Frankie Monroe Norton married William F. Blanton in Bryan Co., OK on 6-21-1930. William Franklin Blanton was the son of John E.A. Blanton and Margaret Elizabeth Keller and the grandson of Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah L. Boone. He was the great grandson of Josiah Blanton and Lucy Westbrook of Fannin Co., TX and Joseph R. Boone and Virginia E.M. Crenshaw.)
