Guy Davis assisted by the Rev. Cecil Roller will officiate with the burial in the Bokchito cemetery. // Mr. Taylor, a housewife, was born May 18, 1883 in Dallas Co., Tex. A member of the Church of Christ, she lived in Bryan Co. since 1921 and Calera seven years. // Surviving are two sons and three daughters: Leslie V. Blanton, San Antonio, Tex.; George E.Blanton, Leonard, Tex.;Laura Jones, San Antonio, Tex.; Lula Ivey, Lubbock, Tex. and Savella Moczygemba. // Coffee Funeral home is handling service arrangements.(Researcher's note: Margaret Taylor nee Margaret Elizabeth Keller 's maternal grandfather, James Riley Sturdivant was born in Franklin Co., TN where affidavits filed with Bureau of Indian Affairs stipulate that James was acknowledged by the Cherokee Nation to be of Cherokee blood. While he was still a young man, the Sturdivant family, together with a small band of Cherokee were forced to migrate to Independence Co., AR where James married Martha Divers. James and Martha and their two small daughters, together with several families of Cherokee heritage then migrated to lands in and around Collin Co., TX. Interestingly, one of Margaret's Sturdivant ancestors, a John Sturdivant, participated in Bacon's Rebellion at Jamestown, VA in 1676. Court records reveal he was fined 3,000 lbs of tobacco for his participation in Bacon's cause. In 1684 John Sturdivant, who was an Indian trader, appears in the records of William Byrd when Byrd reported,"ole Sturdivant and his son were killed by Indians." Margaret's first husband was John E.A. Blanton by whom she had 10 children. Her second husband was E.J. (Edward?) Seals (Sr.) by whom she had 1 son; it is not know "what happened to Mr. Seals." There is no record of a divorce action filed in any of the places where Margaret was known to have lived, therefore, it is likely he, Mr. Seals between 1925-1930. Margaret's third husband was Walter F. "Bud" Jones. Margaret's fourth husband was Sidney J. Taylor. Margaret was buried beside Walter F."Bud" Jones. In addition to the loss of each of her husbands she was predeceased by her parents, George W. Keller and Julia A. E. Sturdivant Keller, four sons and one daughter, Clodye Blanton, Homer B. Blanton, John Thomas Blanton, Archie Lee Seals and Ruby Mae Blanton Winkler.
