Know all
of these presents that we Owen & Mary Coonrod of the
county
and state aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of
eleven
dollars to us in hand paid by Charles Leo, Isaac
Snodgrass,
Enos Coonrod and Moses Allen trustees of Caney Church
of said
county and state the receipt where of is hereby
acknowledged
have this day granted bargained and sold and by these
presents
do grant bargain and sell unto the above named trustees
two acres
one hundred and twenty eight rods of land situated on
the north
side of Caney creek in the county and state aforesaid.
Beginning
on the north bank of Caney Creek one rod north east of a
Spanish
Oak mark X Thence north & west sixteen rods to a stake -
Thence
(smeared) twenty eight rods to a stake Thence S & E
sixteen
rods to the bank of Caney - thence west twenty eight rods
to the
beginning containing two acres and 1.28 rods of land to
have and
to hold said land unto the above trustees and their
sucessors
forever together with all and singular the rights
privileges
improvements and appurtances to the same belonging or
in anywise
incident or appertaining. And we the said Owen & Mary
Coonrod
do hereby bind ourselves our heirs executors adms. and
assigns
to warranty and defend the title to the above described
premises
unto the above named Trustees and their successors
against
the claim or claims of all person whomsoever lawfully
claiming
or to claim the same or any part thereof by through to
or under
us. In Testimony thereof we have hereunto set our hands
and seals
as several(?) being used as such this 13th day of March
