written by John W. Connelly who wrote under the name
of Old Choc. He wrote the bulk of his stories in the
1880's and 1890's . He was b. in 1834 and died in 1911
These articles were clipped out and pasted in a scrapbook without noting the date and newspaper. Most of his work appeared in Whitewright and Trenton papers.
The papers are brittle, flaky and terribly yellow and faded.
