This line of Graves family
descended from Leonard H. Graves born 1806 NC and his 1st wife, Miss Wallace

William J. Graves born
1828 AL, who married Martha Eveline Inman. Children were;

4. Mary M. b 1852 Giles

Leonard H. Graves is thought
to be son of
John Graves died before
1820 Giles Co TN census when his wife Ann [Campbell, dau of Alexander Campbell
and Amy Eaton] Graves was a widow with 8 children. No proof other
than both John and Ann's family names are used in all of the Fannin Co
TN Graves families above listed.
Campbell Graves born 1801,
[lived in Giles Co TN until 1850, then moved to Athens, Limestone Co AL
where he died in Summer of 1866] is my direct line ancestor and thought
to be a brother of Leonard Graves. Again, family names are the same in
all three families and carried down to TX line.
