A family member, Bernie Jo Apple Madeley, gave me this amazing photo of the Doc and Elizabeth Fields family - they are related to the Apple family.  Doc (Lafayette) Fields and my great-great-grandfather Rufus Fields are half-brothers.  Rufus' daughter, Nancy Ann married my great grandfather, Franklin Pierce Apple.  Also, Bernie Jo's mother, who is in the picture as a little girl, Thelma Viola Owens, married our Hershel Apple, son of Nancy Ann and Franklin Pierce Apple.  Also, Granville Fields is in the photo as a little boy and he currently lives in Ladonia.
