Mrs. Belle Morrow, Native of Randolph, Dies at Ector- Rites Held Today
in Ector- Mrs. Belle Morrow, 70, a native of Randolph, passed away Monday
evening at 9:15 p.m. at her residence in Ector, following an illness of
several months. Funeral services were held today at 2:30 p.m. at Ector
Methodist Church, with the Rev. Max Martin, pastor, officiating. Burial
was in Randolph, with Wise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs.
Morrow was born January 12, 1881 in Randolph, a daughter of the late Rev.
and Mrs. Burwell Cox. She was married to the late Dr. W. A. Morrow in 1903.
She attended Ector Schools and Grayson College at Whitewright. Mrs. Morrow
was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Among survivors are two
daughters, Mrs. Frances Porter and Mrs. Kahma T. Hance; a granddaughter,
Peggy Hance; one sister, Mrs. Eva Morgan, and a half-sister, Mrs. Lizzie
Davenport, both of Dallas. Pallbearers were Earl McClure, Roeggie
McClure, Burwell McClure,
Alden Armstrong, and John L. Roark.
