Forest Smith of Sherman, Revs. Stuckey & Taylor; Knight's Templar; buried Louisville, Kentucky; born  Mill Spring, Polk Co., N.C. 1858; graduated Wilver Creek 1884;  Louisberg Theological Seminary; married Miss Annie Bacon, Louisville, Kentucky 9 Feb 1892;his mother:  Miss Jane Waldrop;  survivors: wife, son & daughter;1895 to Gainesville then to Bonham.

Patrick Evans 1 Sept 1846; to Kentucky 1849; to Texas 1857 with uncle Washington Estes; 1859 to Kentucky; in CSA under Bedford Forest; to Texas 1869 from Ky.; 1st wife: Annie Hancock of Muhlengerg Co., Kentucky; she died 1881; no children; 1883 married Miss Annie Dewitt of Fannin Co.; survivors: wife and 2 children: Grover and Lillian, sister Mrs. Wm. Bagley of McKinney; half sister Mrs. John P. Spotts of Bonham; was half brother to John C. Evans (deceased),  submitted by stepbrother W.A. Evans
