Wednesday; age 87; maiden name Steele; born Knox Co., Tenn., 14
April 1826; married at age of 16 to Amos Hardin; he died in
confederacy 1863 wounded at Murfreesboro; This union borne 5
children: N. S. Hardin of Lamasco, J.D. Hardin of Bonham, Mrs. Alice
Billings of Delta Co., Texas, & 2 daughters dead in infancy; to
Fannin co., Texas near Dodd City in 1869; married C.C. Jones; to
Edhube and finally to Bonham. Mr. Jones died 3 yrs ago; 2 children
of 2nd marriage: John S. Jones of Bonham and Mrs. Ella Tweedy of
