JIM ROBINSON RITES TO BE HELD THURSDAY
Whitewright - Jim Robinson, 86, retired farmer, died in the Whitewright
nursing home at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 1969, after an extended illness.
   Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Earnheart chapel
with the Rev. R.L. Cates, Methodist minister of Bonham, and the Rev. Herman
Lancaster, pastor of the First Baptist church of Whitewright officiating.
Interment will be in Randolph cemetery.
   Mr. Robinson was born June 18, 1882 at Ely, son of Mr. and Mrs. M.L.
Robinson.  He married Miss Hettie Pace July 28, 1903 at Trenton.  She
preceded him in death June 14, 1953.
   He was a member of the Baptist church.
   Survivors are two sons, Felix Robinson of garland and Kenneth Robinson of
Randolph; a sister, Mrs. Ed Harvey of Dallas, six grandchildren and 10
-great-grandchildren.
   The family will be at the funeral home between 7:30-9 o'clock tonight.
(Researcher's note:   James T. "Jim" Robinson was the son of Major Lee
Robinson and Temperance Isabella Blanton.  His maternal grandparents were
Josiah Blanton and Lucy Westbrook.)
