at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. 

The Church building is on Hwy 78
2 miles south of the Courthouse in Bonham.

Visitors are Welcome!

They are held Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 
on Hwy 78 about 2 miles south of the Fannin County Courthouse.
Park and enter on the south side of the building.
Visitors are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Fannin County Genealogical Society  Publication has been the 
Fannin County Flashback

The Flashback has temporarily suspended publication.
We are weighing the variables to determine if we should re-start publication
or switch to a blog format with shorter but more frequent posts.  


Membership to the the Fannin County Genealogical Society is $20.00 per year
The quarterly is about 28 pages packed with information about Fannin County and Research.

  •       Queries in the Flashback are free, please send to the address above and ask that it be included in the next edition of the Flashback. You may also submit family histories and stories of Fannin Co. Interest as well as stories of your researching your Fannin County Family.

  • You may submit your family history to be included in the Genealogical Societies' collection of family histories, these are placed in the Bonham Family History Center.

Fannin County Genealogical Society is for  the purpose of support & education in the field
of genealogy.  Beginners classes in Genealogy to be offered again in the future so watch
for postings. Also contact us if you have an interest in a certain type of class and we can
schedule one



 
We are meeting in the New Building Located on hwy. 78  South . From downtown Bonham, take Hwy. 78 (second light on the Square)south  approx. 2 miles. Building is on the  West side of the road. 
Park on the south side of the building, for easy access.
