BROOKS Mrs. Blanche Lane, widow of the late W.A. Brooks, Sr., long-time resident of Forney, passed away Dallas hospital Saturday night. Surviving are son, James K. Brooks, Forney; daughter, Mrs. Gordon West, Wichita Falls; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Armstead Brooks, Dallas; six grandchildren; brother, Ed Lane, Hagerman, N.M. Services at Forney Christian Church, 4 p.m. Monday. Rev. L.B. Haskins officiating. Interment in Forney Cemetery. Arrangements Anderson-Clayton Bros., Forney.
