Josephine S. Buick, Forney resident, died in Mesquite Friday. Funeral services were held from the Saint Martin's Catholic Church in the Talty Community at 2:00 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Casmir Glogowski officiating. Interment was at the Hillcrest Cemetery, located in Forney. Josephine S. Buick was born in Denver Colorado on February 7, 1898. She has lived in Osage, Iowa, Chicago, Ill., and Dallas, Texas before making her home in Forney. She was the daughter of the late Dan Sullivan and the late Kathelen Donovan. She was a member of the St. Martin's Catholic Church. She was married to Fred Buick and to this union four children were born. Her husband and son preceded her in death. Surviving her are: three daughters, Mary Boone of Whitney, Texas, Helen Yates of Lubbock, Texas, and Pat Grant of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers: Harold Sullivan, Ralph Sullivan and Vernard Sullivan, all of Iowa; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. |
