Rosary was recited Sunday evening at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Dallas, for Mrs. Edward R. Maher, 82, who died Saturday. Mass was celebrated Monday and interment was in Calvary Hill Mausoleum. A native of Forney, the former Vivian Layden, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Layden, she had lived in Dallas since 1930. Surviving are her husband, three sons, including the Rev. Msgr. Edward Maher, vice president and associate professor of history at the University of Dallas, Thomas and Louis Maher; a daughter, Mrs. Rita Kelliher. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy and a member of the Holy Trinity Church. |
