The following photos/information was furnished by Joe "Jake" Jacobs. This year book belonged to his mother who graduated from Dilley High School 1931. She had the book because there were several of her cousins in it. Jake went to Dilley Elementary from 1951 to 1953, and is currently retired and living in Mesa, Arizona. His McBee, Jacobs, Rumfield and Speer relatives are from Frio Co. They lived in and around Dilley and Pearsall. Jake's mother was Katie Lee McBee (1913 ? 1983) daughter of Jesse A. McBee (1874 ? 1933) and Louisa V. Speer (1889 ? 1967). His father was George W. Jacobs (1915 ? 1994) son of William H. Jacobs (1885 ? 1975) and Julia Ellen Rumfield (1887 ? 1978). Jake has information on the aforementioned families and will share with others.
