Mr. Gilbert Thomas Muzquiz of Moore, Texas and Lambsburg, Virginia, age 77, passed away on Monday. April 25, 2011 at his home. Mr. Muzquiz was born November 9, 1933 in Coahuila, Mexico, son of the late Pedro "Pete" and Sara Eloisa Jimenez Muzquiz of Moore, Texas.
Gilbert retired as an airplane mechanic from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carrie Sue Melton Muzquiz; three daughters and sons-in-law: Eloisa Sue Muzquiz and Richard Smith of Plano, TX, Anita Ann Muzquiz Blevins and Max Blevins of Mouth of Wilson, and Christina Muzquiz Harrold and Tommy Harrold of Lambsburg; four grandchildren: Alicia Davis and husband Jason of Laurel Springs, NC, Marissa Tate, Cayla Tate and Autumn Tate all of Lambsburg, NC; one great-grandchild, Madison Davis of Laurel Springs; a sister Beatrice Sepulveda and husband Rene of Eagle Pass, and a brother Richard Mizquiz of Moore.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 10AM Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Moore Catholic Cemetery in Moore, TX.
