The seminar speaker is a nationally known, multifaceted genealogy lecturer, researcher and author who brings entertaining and knowledgeable presentations from his more than 40 years as a professional genealogist (beginning with attic-digging in an old family trunk as an 8-year-old).

After graduating from Stanford University, he began his recognized 25-year career as a character actor and singer in familyoriented films, and on national-network radio and television programs.

The recipient of the National Genealogical Society’s Award of Merit for distinguished work in genealogy,” Hank is a member of the American Society of Genealogists (limited to 50 invited members) and also of the Association of Professional Genealogists.

He is the author of eight books, among them the highly popular Psychic Roots: Serendipity & Intuition in Genealogy and its sequel, More Psychic Roots (now in their ninth printings), along with many articles in genealogical publications.

His other publications include: The Palatine Families of New York—1710, More Palatine Families, Westerwald to America, The Palatine Families of Ireland, and Even more Palatine Families. His latest is 18th Century Immigrants to the American Colonies and their German, Swiss and Austrian Origins.
