FWGS's 2013 Summer Seminar

"DNA for Genealogists"

2013 Summer Seminar on DNA

Speaker: Jane Buck from Family Tree DNA

Saturday, 10 August 2013

Jane Buck received a B.S. in Biology from Millsaps College in 2002, and has been pursuing genealogy as a hobby since 2005. She first joined Family Tree DNA as a customer and, through their service, found many new family members and broke through some “brick walls” in her own research. In 2010, Ms. Buck officially joined the Family Tree DNA team as head of the Customer Service department. In this role, she had the opportunity to speak to numerous genealogical groups and organizations about the benefits of genetic genealogy. She has since pursued a career in environmental consulting, though she continues giving talks around the country on behalf of Family Tree DNA.
