Jones Funeral Directors of Seagraves.  Died 19 December 2002.  Born 4 March 1935 in O'Donnell.  Married J. O. Adams on 22 April 1982 in Seagraves.  Preceded in death by daughter, Kay.  Survivors:  Husband, J. O. Adams; three sons, William Joe Adams of Temple; Donald Roy Adams of Seagraves and Michael John Adams of Lubbock; daughter, Shirlee Ann Clark of Mertzon; three brothers, John Rodgers of Hobbs, New Mexico, Otis Rodgers of Arkansas and Joe Edd Williams of Seagraves; four sisters, Naoma Williams and Angie Williams, both of Hobbs, New Mexico, Wilma Cathey of Andrews and Ruth Deere of Lamesa; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Aulds, Jeremy Scott Age 20, of Seminole.  Funeral services 19 October 2002 in South Seminole Baptist Church.  Burial in Gaines County Cemetery South under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.  Died 16 October 2002.  Born 20 August 1982 in Andrews.  Survivors:  Mike and Susy Aulds of Seminole; brothers Shawn Aulds of Seminole and Christopher Aulds of Cherry Point, North Carolina; material grandparents Jack and Glenda Wheeler of Possum Kingdom; paternal grandmother Lois Aulds of Denver City.

Reed, Lois Novell
Lois Novell Reed, 92, of Amarillo died Wednesday, May 1, 2002.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Brent Adams of Southwest Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves.  Mrs. Reed was born in Peach. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. While living in Seagraves, she was city secretary and later the secretary of Pillow's Ice Co. She was a nurse at Brownfield Memorial Hospital from which she retired in the mid-1970s.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles F. Forrester; her second husband, William A. Reed; her daughter, Billie Jean Reed; and a grandson, Daniel J. Adams.  Survivors include four daughters, Earlene Malcolm of Houston, Charlene Day of Rotan, Jo Allen of Amarillo and Lane Adams of Dallas; three sisters, Lynn Treadway, Mabyl Miller and Joan Greenwald, all of Dallas; and a brother, Robert L. Taylor of Quanah; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.  Amarillo Globe-News, 3 May 2002.

Jones Funeral Directors.  Died 20 November 2002.  Born 19 February 1956 in O'Donnell.  Survivors:  Parents Librado and Olivia Saenz of Brownfield and Ovidio and Evangelina Martinez of Seagraves; brothers, Esteban Martinez of Plainview, Marco Martinez of Denton, Ovidio Martinez, Jr. of Seagraves, Lee Saenz of Brownfield, Jesse Saenz of Grapevine, Rudy Saenz of San Antonio and Dan Saenz of Lubbock; sisters Evie Martinez of Seagraves, Stella Saenz Williams of Austin, Irene Contreras and Elizabeth Moreno, both of brownfield and Alice Huerta of Lubbock.

Satterwhite, Flo Age 77, of Seminole, homemaker and seamstress.  Funeral services 5 September 2002 in M. S. Doss Community Chapel.  Burial in Terrace Cemetery in Post under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home.  Died 2 September 2002.  Born 3 October 1924 in Altus, Oklahoma.  Married J. W. "Salty" Satterwhite in June 1948 in Clovis, New Mexico.  Predeceased by her husband on 25 September 2002.  Survivors:  Sons James W. Satterwhite of Keller and Gary Satterwhite of Lubbock; sister Wanda LaMasters of Dell City, Oklahoma; two grandchildren.
Wright, Odis "Buster" Age 75, of Lubbock.  Funeral services 30 November 2002 at First Baptist Church in Seagraves.  Burial in Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves under the direction of Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Seagraves.  Died 26 November 2002.  Born 15 November 1927 in Matador.  Served in the Army Air Corps in Korean War.  Preceded in death by two grandchildren.  Survivors:  Sons, Ricky Wright and Tony Wright, both of Shallowater; daughter Terry Sellers of Shallowater; brother Bennie Wright of Muleshoe; sister Rebecca Blair of Sudan; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
