Funeral services for David Kent Allen, 51, of
Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 2:00
p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. bobby Bates
officiating. Burial will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery.
All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Allen passed away Monday, December 18, 2006 at his residence
following a lengthy illness. He was born October 10, 1955 to M.J.
and Wilma Allen in Seminole Texas. He had lived in Seminole all
his life. He married Nancy Whitaker on March 31, 1976 in
Seminole. Mr. Allen worked as a rig supervisor in the oilfield
and was a Baptist. He was a loving father, son, brother, and
grandfather. Survivors include -- Wife, Nancy Allen of
Seminole, Texas; parents, M.J. & Wilma Allen of Seminole, Texas;
son, David James Dean Allen of Seminole, Texas; daughter, Stormy

Mrs. Dawson passed away Friday, December 22, 2006 at Memorial
Hospital in Seminole. She was born March 5, 1929 in Paris, Texas
and had lived in Seminole since 1957, moving from Abernathy. She
married Roosevelt Dawson in 1945. She was a homemaker and a
member of the Baptist church. Mrs. Dawson is preceded in death
by her husband Roosevelt in 1991. Survivors include:
