Library Volunteer Schedule

Many of the Genealogy Friends of Plano Libraries volunteer to work in the Genealogy Section of the library. Others work behind the scenes. The volunteers, themselves genealogists, have a wide area of expertise:

  • Arkansas
  • General genealogical research
  • Georgia
  • Pennsylvania research (southeast and western)
  • Certified Genealogist who is also a Certified Genealogical Instructor specializing in Texas and The South.

    Hours for the Genealogy, Local History, Texana and Archives are:
  • Monday: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday & Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: closed
