Howdy. Welcome! My name is Douglas Anderson. I am the volunteer host for Goliad County, Texas web site, a branch of the TXGenWeb Project and the USGenWeb Project. Goliad County, Texas being a historically significant landmark has allowed it to be the study of many historians, researchers, and the like. Because of it's attractiveness as a focal point in the regional history of Texas and Mexico, as well as internationally, much has been documented and archived throughout the course of history If you have any genealogical or historical books, manuscripts, papers, etc. pertaining to Goliad County, other resources you would like to share, present on this web site, suggestions, and/or would like to volunteer to perform lookups, cemetery surveys, census transcriptions, please email me at: Douglas Anderson .
