Hi, my name is Dusty Williams and I am the Director for the Lost and Found Cemetery Preservation group,
or as we sometimes call it, the LFCP. We are a volunteer group that documents, transcribes, photographs and preserves
lost and abandoned cemeteries in the Texoma area, centering around Grayson County, Texas. We are always looking for volunteers to help
us in our efforts.We are also searching for individuals who know of a lost and abandoned cemetery and can give us information
about it so that we can preserve it.On this site, you will find some of the cemeteries that we have found. Some have been preserved and
some are just waiting in line to be cleaned up.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Our latest project is to clean up the abandoned Jones Cemetery at Paradise Cove, near Pottsboro, Texas. If you would like to help please let me know. Click on the "Members" link to get my email. We are also in need of flowers to decorate the cemetery if you would like to donate some. Thanks for any help and or assistance.
