Sherman- Funeral services for Oleta M. Ragsdale will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 4 at Akers Cemetery. Mrs. Ragsdale's great nephews, Russell McAdoo, Clay Cox, Chad Bruton, Kelly Johnson, Jason Johnson, and Bart Bruton serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Ragsdale, 80, passed away Friday, April 1 at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ.

Oleta was born September 20, 1930 in Sherman to the late Nell and Bessie (Allison) Bruton. She married Billy Ragsdale on February 9, 1952. They were married almost 30 years when Mr. Ragsdale passed away in 1981. Oleta worked at the First National Bank of Tom Bean, Grayson County State Bank, Montgomery Wards and TXU. She was a member of the Forest Avenue Baptist Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Ragsdale is survived by one sister, Helen Johnson of Ida; three nieces, Lila Cox, Bobbie McAdoo, and Sally Harris, all of Luella; three nephews, Rick Johnson, Mike Johnson, and Danny Bruton, all of Luella; her companion of the last 15 years, James "Eddie" Reese of Sherman; and her dear friend, JoAnn Rogers of Sherman. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles Bruton and Bobby Bruton; two nephews, Raymond Bruton and Steve Bruton.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday at Waldo Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County at 505 W. Center, Sherman, TX 75090.
