 Terry Leigh Chavez
1959-2009 HOWE - Terry Leigh Chavez, 50, of Howe passed away Monday night, Nov. 30, 2009 at her home. 
She was the daughter of Ruben and Angelina Alley Castillo and was born Feb. 26, 1959 in Camp Pendleton, Calif. Being in a military family, they moved about every two years. 
Her long red hair and happy attitude allowed her to fit in easily. As a child, she loved to be outside swimming, fishing, the ocean and the mountains. As an adult she loved to cook, sew and crochet. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. 
Terry is survived by her parents; husband, James Turney and a blended family; sons, James and Chris; and daughters, Corrinia, Sara, Amber and Jessica and their spouses; and 14 grandchildren. 
Graveside services for Terry Chavez were held 11 a.m. Friday Dec. 11, 2009 at Akers Cemetery in Sherman with Rev. Gary Elrod officiating.
