Brian Joel Remshardt, age 54, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2008 at the Baylor All Saints Hospital in Ft.Worth, TX following complications with a liver transplant. 
He was born on July 28, 1954, in Red Wing, MN, the son of William Edward and Marjorie Lavern Stevens Remshardt. Brian graduated from Durant Schools and Grayson County College with his Associate's Degree in Nursing. He has been a loyal employee of Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman for the past 30 years. Brian loved all of the doctors, nurses and staff that he worked with at Wilson N. Jones. He loved to hunt and fish. Brian especially looked forward to the annual (32yr) hunting trip to Utah with his brothers Bill and Steven and other close friends. He also loved riding his Harley. Brian married ?the love of his life? Jill Hamm on May 31, 2003 in Luella. 
Brian is survived by his wife Jill Michelle Remshardt of Sherman, TX, daughter Nicole Remshardt of Durant, OK, son Jeffrey of St. Cloud, MN, sons Andrew and William Remshardt of the home in Sherman, TX, one grandson Jonas Remshardt, sister Jera Austring, brother William "Billy" Remshardt and wife Mary Ann, sister Jill Gordon and husband Jim and brother Steven Remshardt and wife Susan all of Durant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family, friends and colleagues. Brian was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. 
Funeral services for Brian will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday Sept.5th, at the First Baptist Church in Sherman, TX. Rev. Steve Holland of the First Baptist Church in Trenton, TX will officiate. Burial will follow at the Burleson Cemetery in Sherman. Services are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. 
Family night will be on Thursday, September 4th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home. 
Pallbearers will be Rick Eakerns, Dave Stange, Dr. Kent Schrank, Chris Stewart, Pat Stewart and Mike Grace. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Gene Wakefield, Donnie Grace and Orville Reynolds Jr.
