DENISON - Laura C. Ford Crump of Denison, 90-year-old retired licensed vocational nurse, passed away Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009 at the Homestead of Denison. 
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23 at Johnson-Moore Chapel with Rev. Earl Oglesbee officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. 
Mrs. Crump was born on May 17, 1919 in Van Alstyne, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret S. Shaw Allmon and attended school in Van Alstyne. 
She married Jack Lee Carter on July 18, 1938 in Grayson County, and he preceded her in death in 1952. She married George Virgil Ford on Nov. 20, 1957 in Bryan County, Okla. and he died July 18, 1986. 
She retired from the MKT Hospital where she was an LVN. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Denison. 
Pallbearers will be Aaron Dusek, Brad Hamner, Dylan Hamner, Darrell Hamner, Gary Woodrum and David Jernigan. 
Surviving are her son, Jack L. Carter and wife Mary of Denison; daughter, Vickie Holt and husband James of Denison; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-greatgrandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Lee Carter and G.V. Ford; daughter, Linda Wright; one brother and two sisters. 
Visitation will be from 7 -8 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. The family will be at 2265 U.S. Highway 69 in Denison before and after the service.
