DENISON - Russell "Ed" Heironimus, 73, went home to be with the Lord
Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009 at Texoma Medical Center.
Mr. Heironimus was born Jan. 22, 1936 in Denison, the son of Russell
and Thelma Lee (McDonald) Heironimus. Ed married the love of his life,
Louise Scott Aug. 25, 1956 in Madill, Okla. He served his country proudly
in the U.S. Army.
Ed worked for many years at Johns-Manville and later at Johnson&Johnson
where he retired. He loved the outdoors, his farm and taking care of his
horses. Ed was affectionately called "Papa" by his grandchildren. He was
a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Ed will be greatly missed
by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Heironimus is survived by his loving family: wife of 53 years,
Louise Heironimus of Denison; daughter, Lisa Robinson and husband, Patrick
of Denison and son, Cody Heironimus of Denison; grandchildren, David Heironimus
and wife, Rachel of Denison, Michael Heironimus of Denison, Steven Heironimus
and Samantha Heironimus of The Colony, Kyle Robinson, Laura Robinson Nikki
Robinson and Jennifer Robinson all of Denison, Chris Robinson of South
Padre, Island and Jason Stanley of Sherman; great-grandchildren, Lynnzee
Heironimus, Kya Welch, Delaney Robinson and Elizabeth Stanley; brothers,
Bill Heironimus and wife, Linda of Denison and Don Heironimus and wife,
Louann of Dallas; numerous nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death
by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009
at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Dr. William Everett officiating. Family
visitation will be held from 6 t-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2009 at Fisher
Funeral Home.
