VESTER FIELDER
Sherman-Graveside service for Vester Fielder, 70, who died Wednesday in his residence, will be at 2 pm Monday in Cedarlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. The Rev. Lester Scally will officiate. Fielder was born July 14, 1918, in Gunter, son of Ben and Neta Norton Fielder. He married Erma Lee Stipe on July 15, 1939 in Sherman. Mrs. Fielder preceded him in death on July 22, 1981. Fielder was a Baptist and attended schools in Gunter. After retiring from the cities of Richardson and McKinney as superintendent of grounds maintenance, he moved to Sherman in 1982. 
Survivors include four daughters Barbara Forsythe and Erma Jean Fielder, both of Longview, Linda Thorton of Lone Oak, Terry Blount of Sherman; three sisters, Almeda Goode and Jackie Hold of Gainesville, Jenelle Adams of Whitesboro; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence, 821 South. Throckmorton from 7-8 pm today.
