WALTER BULLOCK
Denison - Walter Bullock, 69, retired farmer, died
at 2:25 p.m. Thursday at the home, 1104 West Shepherd, after nine months
illness. Funeral services were to be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the
Baptist church at Sadler, the Rev. James E. Spivey, Presbyterian minister
of Denison officiating. Short and Murry will be in charge of burial
at Christian Chapel near Sadler.
Surviving relatives include his widow, the former
Miss Minnie Lee Cumbie whom he married in Ellis county July 25, 1899; three
sons Floyd Bullock of Hagerman, John and Billie Bullock of Denison; four
daughters: Mrs. Bertie Bruce of Oklahoma city, Mrs. Dewey Adams and Mrs.
Floyd Larkin of Sherman route 3; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Bullock was born Nov 3, 1870, in Ellis county,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bullock. He received his schooling at that
place and came to Sadler in 1908, wherehe farmed for 21 years. He
has resided in Denison since 1934.
