Mrs. Cora B. Blye
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Waldo Funeral
Chapel for Mrs. Cora B. Blye, 83, 30-year Sherman resident, who died at
9 a.m. Saturday, unexpectedly at a Sherman hospital.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Thomas Beall, pastor of the Crutchfield
Heights Baptist Church, with burial at Christian Chapel Cemetery, under
the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blye was born May 28, 1884, at Rutledge, Tenn., the daughter
of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Hazelwood. She had lived in Sherman
for more than 30 years and was a member of the Crutchfield Heights Baptist
Church.
Survivors are three brothers, C.F. Hazelwood of Enid, Okla., W.C.
Hazelwood of Artesia, N.M., and R.E. Hazelwood of Sherman; two sisters,
Mrs. C.E. Durham of Sherman and Mrs. Mae Dinwoodie of Denison, and several
nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Godsey, stanley Hale, Jerry Hale, Jerry
Brown, Boby Hazelwood and Carl Hazelwood.
The family plans to be at the Waldo Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m.
Sunday and at other times will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hale,
1812 Robin Drive.
