Sadler - Mrs. Gladys Frances Siebert
Stinson, 24 years old, died Wednesday at 3:20 a.m. at a Sherman hospital.
She had been in ill health for about three months and Monday had undergone
She was born in Sadler, April 3, 1908. She was a member of
the Baptist church and took an active interest in all of the departments
of the church and Sunday school at Sadler. Mrs. Stinson was a member
of the Rebekah and Royal Neighbors of America lodge there.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. from the Baptist
tabernacle in Sadler, conducted by the Rev. O.M. Traylor, pastor.
Interment will be in the Christian Chapel cemetery, directed by the Talley
Surviving are one son, Billy Jack; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy
Siebert, and four sisters, Misses Lois, Teola, Emma Bond and Florence Siebert.
Three brothers, Raymond, C.L. and Willard Siebert and the grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Siebert, who have been residents of Sadler 60 years,
Besides the immediate relatives, she leaves the following aunts
C.A. Siebert, Mrs. S.C. Franklin and Mrs. Charlie Walker, of Sadler;
Mrs. Hannie Watson, Miss Bee Siebert and Mrs. Charles O. Meek, of Whitesboro;
Olan, Steve and Floyd Robertson and Mrs. Charles L. Moulder of Nacogdoches;
Mrs. W.M. Godwin of Houston; Mrs. A.B. Parham of Texarkana, Mrs. Jim Barnes
of Mexia, Mrs. P.S. Kowan of Amhurst, Lee Siebert of Eastland.
Also, Charles Robertson, former big league baseball pitcher, and
Mrs. A.M. Brown, Mrs. S.L. Evans and Mrs. Willie King of Nacogdoches. -
