The infant of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse C. Cruson of route 2 died Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at a local hospital shortly after birth.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 from the Denison Funeral Home chapel, Rev. Bruce Hibbit officiating.  Interment was at Layne Cemetery, Denison Funeral Home directing.
The child is survived by his parents, four brothers, Jack Dean, Dwan Doyal, Nolan and Roy of Denison; and six sisters, Ava Jean, Betety Lou, Billy Ruth, Wanda, Clora Lee and Erline Cruson, all of Denison.

Son of  Jesse C. Cruson & Viola T. Lady, both born in Okla.
Shot by a 22 rifle. accident.

Youth Fatally Shot as Hunting Trip Ends
Denison, Texas, Dec. 11- Nolan Cruson, 12, was fatally wounded when a gun in the hands of Loranzo Hudgins, 15, was accidentaly discharged at the end of a hunting trip. The two were assisting J.C. Cruson, father of the dead boy, in the unloading of game and pelts when the gun was discharged as they went through a gate.
The bullet struck him in the back and passed near his heart. He was brought to a Denison Hospital but he he died almost on arrival. 
Funeral services will be conducted here at 3 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Layne Cemetery. 
Surviving are his parents, three brothers and sisters.
