SERVICES HELD MONDAY FOR JAMES A PEARCE
Collinsville - Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Collinsville Baptist Church for James Albert Pearce, 82.  He died in a Collinsville  rest home at 5 p.m. Sunday.  Rev. Hugh Newsom conducted the services.  Masonic rites were performed at the Collinsville Cemetery graveside.  Richards-Beck Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Mr. Pearce was born March 27, 1882 in Walnut Ridge, Ark., the son of Mr. and Mrs. P.M. Pearce.  He was married to Miss Celia Tuck, Dec. 8, 1907 at Collinsville.  He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.  He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Milton Pearce of Collinsville; one daughter, Mrs. Glen Fields, Bonanza, Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. John Cunningham, Whitesboro; Mrs. Fannie Hall, Shawnee, Okla; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
