COLLINSVILLE - Funeral Services for Maudie Farrington, 90, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Collinsville with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Collinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Maudie passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Hilltop Haven Nursing Center in Gunter. She was born on May 8, 1920 in Gunter to David Washington Wilson and Carolina Ezabelle (Miller) Wilson. She married William Farrington on Nov. 21, 1936 in Sherman. She was a homemaker, enjoyed her flower gardens and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Collinsville. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Renfro and husband, Jerry of Sherman; a son, Kenneth Farrington and wife, Wilma of Gainesville; 6 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a grandson, Jay G. Renfro; and 11 brothers and sisters. Pallbearers are Billy Joe Stephenson, Tyler Vick, Harris Vick, Kirstopher Renfro, Scott Renfro and Jerry Renfro. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Vick and Johnny Vick.
