Sunday Rites Held for Floyd F. Heffley
Floyd Franklin Heffley, 72, of collinsville died Saturday morning
at three o'clock at his home. Funeral rites were conducted Sunday
at 4 p.m. in Richards Chapel
David Bramlett and Vallen Graham officiated for the rites, and burial
was in Collinsville cemetery.
Mr. Heffley was born September 21, 1899 in Mt. Judea, Ark.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Heffley. He married Bessie Dickey
on December 21, 1919 at Cave Creek, Ark.
Mr. Heffley was a retired farmer and member of the Church of christ.
He is survived by his widow; six sons, F.O. Heffley of Grapevine,
William Heffley of Fort Worth, Gerald Heffley of Hurst, Dale Heffley of
Fort Worth, John Heffley of Denton and James Heffley of Austin; two daughters,
Mrs. Lola Brock of Keller and Mrs. Anna Nettles of Fort Worth; and 17 grandchildren.
Also surviving are five brothers, Arvie Heffley of Fort Worth, Ted
Heffley, Loran Heffley, and Owen Heffley, all of Stephenville, and Noah
Heffley of Collinsville; also five sisters, Mrs. Mamie Drennan of Bluffdale,
Mrs. Laura Curtis of Rogers, Ark., Mrs. Rosetta Jones of Forth Worth, Mrs.
Nova Hurley of Stephenville, and Mrs. Lona Gunter of Broken Arrow, Okla.
