HAZEL YOUNG
Services for Hazel Louise Young, 84, of Collinsville, will be held
at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 3, at Collinsville Church of Christ.
She died Monday, August 31, 1992, at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman.
Tom Medlin, minister of Collinsville Church of Christ, will conduct
the services.
Burial will be in Collinsville Cemebery under the direction of Huff
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Young was born October 26, 1907 in Collinsville, the daughter
of the late Samuel Thomas Light and Nettie B. Thomason Light. She
married Thomas Jeff Young on October 11, 1929 in Sherman, Texas. He preceded
her in death on July 22, 1988.
She was a homemaker, a member of Collinsville Church of Christ,
and was active in Collinsville Senior citizens activities.
Survivors are a son, Tom Young of Mangum, Oklahoma; three brothers,
Charles Light, George Light and Bob Light, all of Collinsville; five sisters,
Bess Hagar of Salinas, California, Clara Wade of Whitesboro, Zula Copeland,
Bernice Mullins and Peggy Maglaughlin, all of Collinsville; five grandchildren
and several great-grandchildren.

JEFF YOUNG
Services for Jeff Young, 79, were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July
25, at Huff Funeral Chapel in Whitesboro. He died Friday, July 22,
1988, at his residence in Collinsville. Charles Yeager of the Collinsville
Church of Christ conducted the services.
Burial was in Collinsville Cemetery under the direction of Huff
Funeral Home.
Mr. Young was born Augut 5, 1908, in Collinsville, the son of the
late George and Sally Jane Durham Young. He married Hazel Light,
October 11, 1929, in Sherman. He was a farmer and a member of the
Collinsville Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife, Hazel Young of Collinsville; one son, Tom
Young of Mangum, Okla.; one daughter, carolyn Johnson of Tonopah, Nevada;
five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Young, Steve Moncrief, Keith Moncrief, Gerald
Young, Chip Light, and Ralph Young.
