Mrs. Minnie Welch, 76, Dies; Services Set
Whitesboro--Mrs. Minnie Mae Welch, 76, died Friday at 4:20 p.m.
at Whitesboro Nursing Home after a long illness.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Richards-Beck Chapel,
Whitesboro. Rev. Joseph Saylor and Rev. Lawrence E. Smith, Methodist ministers,
will officiate. Burial will follow in the Collinsville cemetery.
She was born Feb. 2, 1890, in Ardmore, Okla., daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Medock Perry. She married G. A. Welch on March 3, 1913 in Collinsville.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Albert Welch of Collinsville; Bill
Welch of Kilgore; John Welch of Chicago and Bob Welch of Duncanville; four
daughters, Mrs. Nellie Harris of Barstow, Calif., Mrs. Ann Watson of Wichita
Falls, Mrs. Jean Thomas of Whitesboro and Mrs. Mary Gann of Waco; five
sisters, Mrs. Willie Scarce of Arapaho, Okla., Mrs. Pruda Thorne of Walters,
Okla., Mrs. Nancy Scribner and Mrs. Alma Young, both of Oklahoma City,
and Mrs. Edith Parane of Long Beach Calif.; one brother, John Dunn of Wichita
Falls; 30 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. - - - - April 24, 1966
