Mrs. Martha Combest Dies of Long Illness
Collinsville - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Richards Beck Funeral Home, Whitesboro, for Mrs. Martha Ellen Combest, 87, of Collinsville, who died Friday at 7:40 a.m. in a Sherman hospital after a long illness.
Vallen J. Graham of Gunter, Church of Christ minister, will conduct the services.  Burial will be in Collinsville Cemetery.
Mrs. Combest was born Dec. 2, 1878 in Kentucky, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Chelf.  She was the widow of E.C. Combest.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J.O. Quattlebaum of Sherman and Mrs. R.F. Green of Dallas; a brother, Logan Chelf of Sherm; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Russell of Bullard; 11 grandchildren, 24 great=grandchildren.
