SADLER ? Funeral Services for Joe M. Vannoy, 82, will be held at
2 p.m.. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Ricky
Patterson and Olden Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Collinsville
Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.
Mr. Vannoy died Tuesday, Nov. 06, 2007 at his residence in Sadler.
He was born one of eleven children on Nov. 26, 1924 in Collinsville
to William U. and Addie C. Vannoy. Joe was a Veteran of WW II, serving
in the U.S. Army. He married Juanita Carney on May 31, 1946 in Collinsville.
Joe was a dairyman for most of his life. He was a member of the Collinsville
Church of Christ and has served the past 20 years as President of the Collinsville
Cemetery Association.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Juanita Vannoy of Sadler;
a son, Rick Vannoy of Sadler; two granddaughters, three great-grandchildren;
several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Jonita
Gayle Vannoy; five brothers and five sisters.
Pallbearers will be Dickie Mack Vannoy, Ralph Vannoy, Curtis Fails,
Grady Fails, Darrel Carney and Roy Blair.

COLLINSVILLE ? Funeral services for Bobbie Carroll Vannoy, 73, will
be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the First Baptist Church
in Collinsville with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating assisted by Rev. Bobby
Rowe. Interment will follow in Collinsville Cemetery. Services are under
the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Visitation will be
from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, October 31, 2008 at the funeral home.
Bobbie passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Texoma Medical
Center in Denison.
Bobbie was born on January 2, 1935 in Whitesboro, Texas to William
and Verna Mae (Shaddix) Vaughn. She married Billy Lee Vannoy on January
16, 1950 in Love County, Oklahoma. Bobbie was a secretary for Texas Instruments
and later worked for the Grayson County Sheriff?s Department. She was the
former secretary of First Baptist Church Collinsville, where she was a
member. Bobbie had also worked as a court clerk for the City of Collinsville.
Survivors include four daughters, Patricia Williams and husband
Royce of Whitesboro, Kathy McKnight and husband Bob of Tioga, LaJuana Autry
and husband John of Gunter and Paula Cox of Collinsville; a brother, Joe
M. Vaughn of Collinsville; 8 grandchildren, Adrienne Fugett of Gunter,
Toni West of Collinsville, David Williams of Collinsville, Jeff McKnight
of Tioga, Jess McKnight of Edmond, Oklahoma, Aaron Autry of Round Rock,
Jake McKnight of McKinney and Michael Don Williams of Collinsville and
17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Vannoy; father,
William Vaughn; mother, Verna Vaughn and grandson, Brandon Lee Cox.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: David Williams, Jeff McKnight, Jess
McKnight, Aaron Autry, Jake McKnight and Michael Don Williams.
