Swindle, Ned
COLLINSVILLE ? Graveside services for Ned Swindle, 82, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 1, 2008 at Collinsville Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating.  Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.   Visitation will be from 7 to 8 P.M. Mr. Swindle passed away on January 29, 2008 at Hilltop Haven in Gunter, Texas. Ned was born on June 26, 1925 in Collinsville, Texas to Eber and Edna (Owens) Swindle.  He lived his whole life in Collinsville and he worked for Borden?s for 46 years.  Ned was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by two sisters, Nedra Boaz of Denton and Dorothy Carney of Collinsville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eber and Edna Swindle; three brothers, Ty Swindle, Eber Swindle and J.B. Swindle and three sisters, Lena Belle Jones, Oleta Cox and Catherine Kerr. ----Whitesboro News-Record
