Donald Ray White, 66, of Denton, passed away Monday, January 28,
2008, at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born July 3, 1941 in Whitesboro,
TX to J.R. and Ina Belle (Payne) White. He was a retired Carpenter and
a member of the First Baptist Church of Pilot Point, TX He served in the
Army National Guard.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 1,
2008 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home,
705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Jimmy White and Rev. Charles White officiating.
Burial will follow in the Collinsville Cemetery in Collinsville, TX. The
family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday,
January 31, 2008.
Mr. White is survived by his wife, Linda White of Denton; daughter,
Audra Jean Smith of Denton; sons, Don L. and Joshua White of Denton and
Steven Ray White of Aubrey; brothers, Charles White of Georgetown and Jimmy
White of Little Elm; an aunt, Nancy Johnson of Sherman; six grandchildren,
Ashley Kennedy, Hailey and Kyle White, Breanna and Savanna White, and Amanda
