SERVICES PLANNED FOR J. H. AKRIDGE

WHITEWRIGHT, Texas -- Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. in Earnheart Chapel for James H. (Jimmy) Akridge, 69, a farmer and stockman in the Desert community, who died Sunday in a McKinney hospital.
The Rev. Howard Holland of Leonard will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Lee Smith of Whitewright.  Burial will be in Cross Roads Cemetery.
A native of Desert, Akridge received his education in the old Asa Walker School and the Old Westminister Baptist Academy. He was a member
of the Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fannie Giles Akridge; two daughters; Mrs. Earl B. Blanton of Desert and Mrs. H. F. Slingerland of Cheyenne, Wyo.; three brothers, Grace Akridge of Sherman, Will Akridge of Whitewright and Jodie Akridge of Desert; and three grandchildren.
