FUNERAL RITES ANNOUNCED FOR MRS. DAVE ALVERSON

WHITEWRIGHT -- Funeral services will be held Wednesdy at 2:30 p.m. in Cross Roads Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Dave Alverson, 87, who died at her home in  Whitewright Monday at 4:15 a.m.
Rev. Howard Holland of Leonard and Rev. W.W. Alverson and Rev. Lee Smith, both of Whitewright, will officiate.  All are 
ministers of the Presbyterian Church.  Burial will be in Cross Roads Cemetery, directed by Earnheart Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alverson was a native of Dresden, Tenn., and a daughter of the late James and Mollie Caraway.  She came to Texas 75 years ago and had lived in W hitewright 34 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jim Gordon of Whitewright; a sister, mrs. Lee Wallace of Blue Ridge; two brothers, 
J.O.Caraway of Van Alstyne and A.M.Caraway of Savoy; two grandchldren and one great grandchild. [1954]
