Mrs. Janie Brown

VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Mrs. Janie Brown, 83, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Elmont Baptist Church.  She died Tuesday morning in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Brown was born Oct. 17, 1888, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Ladd.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Rev. Bob Milligan, pastor at Elmont, and Rev. E.G.Gregory, Baptist minister, will officiate with burial in Elliott Cemetery under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home.
Survivors are several nieces and one nephew.
The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
