Death Cert. Vella Scoggin Cannady, 16 Sep 1880-3 Dec 1966, She lived in Collinsville. She was born in Macon, Ga., dau. of John Scoggin and Mollie Johnson. She died of a cerebral hermorrhage and hypertension. Mildred Bundy was the informant.

Mrs. Vella Cannady Dies At Collinsville

Collinsville - Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Richards-Beck Chapel, Whitesboro, for Mrs. Vella Cannady, 86, who died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at her home after several months illness.
Willis Dean, Church of christ minister, will officiate.  Interment will be in Ethel Cemetery east of here.  Grandsons and nephews will be pallbearers.
Mrs. Cannady was born Sept. 16, 1880, in Macon, Ga., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Scoggin.  She was married to Norman E. Cannady in 1901.  She was a member of the Collinsville Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Bundy and Mrs. Alline Graham, both of Collinsville; four granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
