Denison, Tex., Dec. 19.--Mrs. Markham, wife of Dr. L. N. Markham of this city died last evening at 7 o'clock at the family residence. Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at the Baptist church. Drs. Wilson Gardner, Debow, Birch and Fisher and Col. R. C. Foster acted as pall bearers. The remains were interred in fairview cemetery.
