BELLS - Malcom "Sonny" Ulch, died Friday, May 21, 2004, in Life care Hospital, Plano.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Taylor officiating.  Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Ulch was born Sept. 9, 1935, in Van Alstyne, the son of Malcom and Emma Hailey Ulch.  He married Catherine Winchester on March 5, 1960 in Denison.
He was a member of the Baptist faith.  He served in the United State Army. He worked for Main Street Lumber and Cole Lumber as a salesman, and Cameron Wholesale.
Surviving are his wife, Catherine Ulch of Bells; three sisters, Billie Kesler of Holly Springs, Miss., Myrtle Robertson of Charleston, Miss., and Opal Bradshaw of Telephone, TX; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Tommy McCarty, Kevin Holt, David Holt, Richard Scott, Jerry Lee Worthington, and Mike Worthington.  Honorary pallbearers were Bill Stone, Terry Wells, Jimmy Dale Ivey, Jimmy Lively, Ramey L. Morrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Imogene McCarty.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home.
